John and I worked together at Brainworks for a couple of years. We were both Sales Managers. The one thing you learn in Sales is to "be memorable." The initial contact and the the human element are so important in sales. That was John C. He was always willing to go the extra mile. He knew everything sbout the customer, their business and their needs. He had a gift of relating to anyone on a personal level. He was always postive, like sunshine everywhere he went. I loved that he could always laugh at himself. I remember a funny story. He scheduled a meeting at the Washington Post. He and our VP of Sales were getting in the taxi and the VP of Sales looked down and said, "John, you have two different shoes on." John looked and said, "Oh no, I didn't even notice it." They quickly went to a store and got him a pair of shoes before going to the meeting. We all laughed about it later. I am really going to miss him.
John C.. will always be positively, categorically, indubitably MEMORABLE.
